The steak houses in Chicago are known for their midwestern beef and grand rooms.  The Tavern located at 519 North Milwaukee features USDA prime beef, Australian Wagyu, organically raised Uruguayan beef, and organic free-range chicken, diver-caught Maine sea scallops, assorted fresh fish, cold water Rock Lobster Tails the Alaskan king salmon run, live Maryland soft shell crabs, morels, chanterelles, and porcini from hunters in Oregon and Washington, and fresh produce from local county farms.  They have one of the most extensive menus in all of Chicago.  They also have an award-winning wine list featuring over 1,200 selections, a great wine by the glass assortment, and an unusually well-stocked bar round out the Tavern’s beverage program.

Morton’s The Steakhouse located at1470 McConnor Pkwy in Schaumburg, IL is the nation’s premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. Morton’s is famous for its animated signature tableside menu presentation: steaks, whole Maine lobsters and other main course selections, along with fresh vegetables, are presented on a cart rolled to your table, where the server displays and describes each menu item in appetizing and entertaining detail. The menu, which is the same at all locations, features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 20 ounce New York sirloin and a 14 ounce double cut filet. You can also enjoy the famous slow roasted Prime Rib. Morton’s Prime Rib is a double cut, served bone-in and roasted to a perfect medium rare.

Chicago Chop House located at 60 W Ontario St in Chicago, IL is one of the best steak houses in the country all USDA Prime, hand-cut on the premise and aged a minimum of three weeks. This steakhouse gets high marks for affordable prices and great steaks, salads, and baked potatoes. They are also known for the 64-ounce porterhouse.  However, if you cannot fathom eating four pounds of steak, you’ll find a more reasonable 16-ounce New York strip or prime rib, a 10-ounce filet.  If you are not in the mood for a steak they also have items like broiled swordfish with sherry butter or a big bowl of Caesar salad.

Brazzaz located at 539 N. Dearborn Street in Chicago, IL is a visually stunning steakhouse serving a dazzling variety of meats in a continuous table side service in the classic Brazilian style of barbecue. This method shows a variety of items are slowly roasted over coals to preserve their natural flavors and textures. These are brought to your table directly from the grill on the skewers and expertly served by the Brazilian cowboy. They also have a spectacular Salad Bar that includes over forty items.  They also have other entrees ranging from seafood to pastas, such as Sushi, Oysters and Wild Mushroom Risotto.

N9NE Steak House located at 440 W Randolph St in Chicago, IL is nationally recognized and represents the best in fine dining, featuring prime aged steaks and the freshest of seafood. N9NE Steakhouse combines the best in service, menu, and decor to create an unforgettable dining experience for all guests.  This New American menu features fresh seafood and thick cuts of meat, notably lobster, oysters, ahi tuna, veal, and prime-aged steaks. The wine list is enormous and features nine pages showcasing wines from across the globe, grouped by varietals, producer, and taste.

Rosebud Steakhouse located at 192 E Walton St in Chicago, IL has a menu packed with delectable beef and seafood dishes, and you’re sure to find something delectable, like a NY strip steak or potato-crusted striped bass. Salads and sides abound as well, and the wine list includes Italian, French, and Californian white, red, and sparkling wines.  It is one of the more famous steak spots in all of Chicago.
